Flash 10 beta with Firefox 3

Adobe Labs is pre-releasing flash 10 which will prove to be faster, better, and deliver a overall better quality internet experience.  In the past, non-Windows users did not have as speedy of a performance with flash and frankly many video-based flash sites simply crashed under Linux.  Adobe is beginning to offer an improved API that can be developed which should provide for a more stable flash experience as well as make things faster.  There are special web abilities that are being developed for Flash 10 that should do alot to enrich the web experience.

To install the beta for Flash 10 on a Linux system with firefox 3.0:
1) Remove any previous versions of Flash
2) Download the package.
3) copy libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib/xulrunner-addons/plugins/

The main Adobe installer is broken and simply copying libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins does not work.

I had to do this to get my sound working:

sudo apt-get install libflashsupport
